Making charity stand out
We refreshed the brand look and feel and built a scalable booking solution allowing visitors to book into meetings directly on the site.
The challenge
The New Normal is changing the way we discuss grief, mental health and wellbeing, but its visual identity was dark and the website quite limiting. The team wanted the look and feel to reflect the positives of what it does and needed new site functionality to allow them to easily add new meetings with multiple access points for its users to sign up.
The solution
The charity's approach to self-care and healing is about openness, inclusion, sharing, compassion and honesty. We took these core principles and reflected them back in the new look and feel, bringing warm, bright colours to the forefront and introducing a clear, open layout with strong, yet approachable, typography.
Behind the scenes, we used Webflow's CMS to automatically generate a new page for each meeting type that the team can easily add to. We used many fields inside the CMS and conditional visibility rules to only show content when its field was populated. This means that one meeting might have four sign up buttons for different types of events, and another might only have one, giving the design flexibility.
