The challenge

March Construction has been in business for 10 years and has gone from strength to strength. What started as a man and a van now provides bespoke building services to the luxury property market. The out-of-date and out-of-touch online presence and branding were in need of some TLC. We were tasked to evolve the visual identity to create something contemporary and long-lasting which reflected the company's proposition.

The solution

We spent hours meeting with the company owners to get under the skin of their business transformation, their medium and long term objectives as well as who they are as people.

This allowed us to really understand what was important, what we could keep from the previous design system and where we could really evolve things to help them stand out as the high-end provider they now are. We created a sophisticated and simple colour palette and typography that reflected reliability, attention to detail and modern sophistication. We created an ownable brand icon and a flexible suite of graphic devices to work across multiple formats.

The new website shows the company's full range of services and features deep-dive case studies with extensive image galleries and testimonials. We added subtle animations and interactions and succinct, personable language, too.
