Having recently acquired a company and greatly expanded its offering, MWA was in need of a new look and a new online home.

The challenge

With an extremely short, immovable deadline for the rebrand we had to move quickly from day one. The new visual and verbal identity needed to reflect the new company divisions, work in tandem with the new marketing strategy and be able to scale as the company continues to grow, diversify and serve an increasingly broad clientele.

MWA has an impressive roster of well-known brands and institutions on its books, but their website was out of date and lacked an intuitive and easy-to-use content management system to allow them to keep their case studies up-to-date. MWA is a company that move quickly, and needed a versatile and adaptable website which gave them control over their content to match.

The solution

We immediately jumped into intensive brand discovery sessions with the company founder and directors in order to find out as much about the business, industry and their motivation to change the look and feel. Once we analysed the responses and ran our competitor research we saw a clear opportunity for differentiation and how to create an approachable and friendly brand to reflect the size of the company, without losing the professional feel inherent in all of their work.

We created a new master logo as well as a system to make sub-brand logos in order to unite the old and new parts of the business with a coherent and consistent structure. We defined a clear tone of voice for the company to use as they increase their marketing efforts along with a refreshed, expanded colour palette and typography to enhance the new personality.

We built as much of the site as possible using the Webflow CMS to empower the team to update and add content quickly and easily, without needing to rely on us to make changes. The client list and portfolio can now be filtered by industry category, completely managed by the CMS. We created a series of layouts to allow MWA to showcase their beautiful imagery and crafted new areas to feature team members, company milestones, image galleries, case studies and testimonials.
